Here are some some sites for you to check out. Whether you're looking for a writing community, a place to blog, or just writing tips, check them out.
Blogger
Of course, I have to give a shout out to the site I have my blog on :) It is a great place though. Their options for privacy and template designs are very nice.
Writer's Digest
Not only do they offer a writing community, but it's one of the best places to find resources on writing. From plotting to publishing--they have you covered.
WEbook
A writing community where you can post work for feedback. They also have writing competitions hundreds of groups you can join. Or create one of your own! I can't even begin to tell you the amazing talent there is on this site.
Authonomy
A place where other writers and readers help get your book published. Run by Harper Collins, it's another good place for feedback.
Live Journal
Another great place to blog, this one allows you more options when it comes to posting. You are also given a username that appears automatically when commenting on blog posts.
750 Words
This site focuses on getting you into writing gear every day. There are minimal distractions and it's pretty simple. You set up an account and then write 750 words. Nobody reads it but you and it really gets the juices going.
(Don't see a site you think is worth mentioning? Email me and I'll be sure to include it!)
